Can You Really Find Legitimate Work From Home Opportunities?

Is it really possible? Do legitimate work from home opportunities exist? You may be skeptical, and I would be, too, but the answer to that question is yes!

The key to finding legitimate work from home opportunities is research, research, and more research. Why? Because, most often, your first contact with any work at home program is a sales page, which is a lengthy advertisment on why that work at home product is the best and will give you income claims and be full of testimonials of people who've been successful with the product. How do you know that any of that is true? You don't...unless you do a little research first before you buy!

Ok, so you've found a work at home program that seems interesting and it looks like it could work (it is not an obvious scam like a matrix program or pyramid scheme...don't even waste your time on those.) Now you need to find out if it is the genuine deal, that is, if the claims stack up to reality.

First, visit ripoffreport.com and search for your opportunity by name. If there are any reports listed on the company, read through them and make sure that they are genuine and not just reports by disgruntled people who were just not happy for whatever reason. Another key thing to note is the age of the program and the number of reports listed. If the program is more than two years old and there are fewer than 10 reports listed, then odds are the program is not a scam. However, if there are a ton of reports and they all of them have an identical story of how the program does not work and how they were mislead, then move on to the next one.

Second, plug in the name of your opportunity and the word scam into Google or Yahoo. You can skip all of the affiliate sites with the fake reviews. They are pretty obvious to spot since they're usually only one page and they have titles like "Is X a scam?" or "Does X really work?" What you are looking for is information from genuine sources about the program. If you pull up nothing but those fake review sites, great! You're not done yet.

Finally, visit forums devoted to making money online. Popular ones are the warrior forums and digital point forums. You can search for your program by name and you will find posts from forum users about their experiences with the program. In my opinion, forums provide the most genuine and accurate information since the posters are just giving their opinions with nothing to gain from doing so.

After you have completed all of the steps above, you can take the information you have uncovered and make an educated decision about whether or not you want to try the opportunity.
